Ken Meyer's Woodcarving Page

Ken Meyer
Bella Vista, Arkansas

Ken is a carver that is a rustic individual who originated from Fargo, North Dakota. Living in North Dakota has caused him to create carvings that are natural in nature. After moving to Bella Vista, Arkansas, he had to learn a lot o new woods and flora. In the past he had carved woods of iron and Prickly Ash. Now Ken loves bass wood and spending time with the friends he has met in the Bella Vista Woodcarving club. So what does Ken carve? He likes to carve oak leaves in three dimensional stand, and the seeds they produce. Ken has carved oak leaves and sent them to five continents at this time for friends and family. He is also studying the carving of birds and especially likes the sparrows. Ken has a scriptural saying that goes with the carvings and is intended to lift the spirit of friends who have suffered a loss of spouse or a health problem. He has started to carve wood fishing plugs and finds them harder as they need to actually work and come through the water straight and wiggle just right. He is still practicing.

To contact Ken email him at [email protected]
