antique bush hook measures approx. 11 1/4 inch blade, handle is 32 1/4 inch long. tool markings are y. & p. light. between the letters y & p there is an anchor. plumb bought into yerkes business in 1870, the were partners from 1870 to 1887. plump bought out yerkes in 1887, he used the same marking till 1900. tool has some rust and pitting. wooden handle is worn. |
