antique single bit axe measures approx. 7 inch from edge to ploe, cutting edge is 5 1/2 inch long, handle is 32 1/4 inch long. tool markings on one side are mann lewistown, pa. the markings on the other side are true american. the word true has triangles on each side of it, the triangles are pointing away from the letters. tool has a deer foot handle. wooden handle is worn. tool has previous owners name. |
